After almost 5 years here at the Trail Foundation, we say Good-Bye to Kelli as she takes on a new grand adventure. Kelli has been such a huge part of what we have been able to do over the past 5 years. From social media and marketing to tabling, grant writing, managing the Membership campaign and pretty much everything in between- Kelli has helped TFNU continue to grow and be a solid presence in the community. 
We are very sad to see her go but we are so excited for her to take on a new chapter. 
Thank you Kelli- we will miss you and cannot thank you enough!

Let's champion safe trail etiquette and uphold the sacred principles of leaving no trace. Together, we can protect and cherish the landscapes that fuel our adventures.
Selected films will take center stage at the iconic Egyptian Theater in Ogden, Utah, on Thursday November 6th.
So, grab your camera, embrace the wild, and join us as we celebrate the spirit of exploration at the Ogden Mountain Film Festival.

Episode #8: 2023 TFNU Peak Challenge

The 2023 TFNU Peaks Challenge- Info
The TFNU Peaks Challenge is a self-paced trail challenge for Northern Utah trail lovers to set a goal to bag all four or our iconic local Peaks in one season. Ranging in elevation from Malans at 6980 feet all the way to Ben Lomond Peak at 9711 feet. Anyone who has completed any of these four peaks will tell you that they can be a bit of a challenge.
Participants choose when to complete each of the four peaks (Malans, Lewis, Mt.Ogden & Ben Lomond - just like the levels of our TFNU membership program). Peaks can be done any time, and in any order, between June 3rd, 2023 & October 14th, 2023. Whether you end up bagging just one or do all four - participants will receive an exclusive peak sticker for each mountain top you reach and a big sticker when you complete all four peaks.  Participants bagging all four peaks during that time will also be honored at the TFNU Fall Trail Mixer October 26th at the Monarch and receive a pretty cool surprise.

Episode #7: TFNU Fall Trail Mixer

FREE FALL TRAIL MIXER EVENT
Join TFNU, Thursday, October 26th, at The Monarch in Ogden from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. 
This free fall celebration is a chance for us to honor and thank the people in the community who - because of their support - allow TFNU to do what we do. This event is also a way for the public (who may be unfamiliar with us) to see and hear the ins and outs of our organization, and ask any questions they may have. Attendees will have a chance to meet and chat with TFNU staff & board, ask questions, learn about our Membership Program, and get a 'behind the scenes' look at the projects we are currently involved in across Northern Utah and hear what plans are in the work for the future.

Episode #6: National Trails Day 2023

Saturday, June 3rd, 9 am - 1 pm
TFNU is excited to host another amazing, fun-filled, community & trail focused - free - National Trails Day event on Saturday, June 3rd. We will have trail clean-up projects, bike techs, activities, as well as speakers, & demonstrations from local non-profits and trail focused booths right here in Ogden.
We will be set up in the parking lot of ENVE Composites, located at 508 Stockman Way in West Ogden, located between the Ogden Trackline Bike park and the Ogden Kayak park.
This is a family friendly event for everyone in our community. Place bids on silent auction items and stay for the announcement and presentation of the 2023 Richard S. White Friend of The Trails Award

Earth Day 2023 is right around the corner. Last year, TFNU was fortunate to be apart of the Ogden Nature Centers Earth Day event and we look forward to being at this years event as well.
